CZERNY RECTAL SPECULUM
Czerny Rectal Speculum surgical is used to visualize the rectal mucosa by retracting the wall of the rectum. The surgeon holds the rectal speculum in the non-dominant hand, before gently inserting the speculum into the rectum through a well-lubricated anus. The dominant hand is then used to introduce instruments to take biopsy, for injection sclerotherapy, hemorhoidectomy and polypectomy. The instrument has an overall length of 22 cm and has a handle and a blade with a curve for easy insertion.
