BAKES GALL DUCT DILATOR
Bakes Gall Duct Dilator is an instrument used to enlarge gall ducts in order to relieve stasis of bile or the pancreatic ducts to allow the passage of stones to allow the pancreatic juices to reach the intestines. The instrument consists of a slender, flexible rod, attached to a handle with a bulb at the other end. The surgeon gently inserts the dilator into the gall duct with progressively increasing size in order to dilate the duct and relieve the obstruction.
